Peter has devoted his time to cycling since
early childhood. At the beginning his brother Juraj was his biggest role model.
Peter was gifted with versatility which he used in mountain bike cycling,
cyclo-cross and road cycling. He joined Cycling club Žilina where he achieved
a number of great results under coaches Milan Novosad and Peter Zánický.
In 2007 he was named „a talent of the year of the Slovak cycling“. Later on, in
2009, Peter became a member of the Dukla Trenčín. In Trenčín he started to
concentrate on road cycling mainly. He soon gained some achievements in
international events. Noticeable results helped him to turn professional. This
year /2010/ he joins the world of professional cycling with LIQUIGAS–Cannondale
team. Peter is an incredible talent who surprises us every day in the best
possible way. His modesty and endurance make him very popular not only among
people but also among media.
