Peter Sagan 2nd in the
final Tour of Oman stageAfter the Québec race
The Slovakian Peter Sagan rode with the peloton for the whole time. His Liquigas team was working in front of the peloton to avoid any dangerous attacks. 20-year-old guy from Žilina got to the front but he knew Voeckler was just too far to catch. Peter finished 19th as he had some health problems.

„Before the race our team decided to help me and Oss mainly. I was riding quite well in the beginning and I believed I could fight for a victory. Later on I started to feel worse because of my stomach. I believe my problems were caused by food. A lot of riders had similar problems and decided not to race at all. I tried to attack in the last lap but I did not succeed.“
Almost all the riders are traveling to Montreal now for another one-day race.
